RESEARCHTDT — The Desire Therapy Framework
The Desire Therapy (TDT) is a guided mental imagery framework designed to support emotional regulation by combining immersive VR, structured visual scenarios, and qEEG-informed design principles.
Created by psychotherapist Maia Tskitishvili, TDT has been refined through 1,500+ in-person guided sessions, forming the conceptual base for NeuropilotVR’s VR brain recalibration experiences.
Her findings and method are outlined in her publication
Create a Better Reality / Neuro-Emotional Passion of Quantum Mind, exploring how mental imagery can influence brainwave activity and emotional perception.

Research & Validation (2022 Study)
Neuropilot developed two immersive 5-minute VR scenarios focused on performance anxiety patterns in elite athletes from Georgia’s national rugby team.
The study included:
-
qEEG brainwave observation
-
STAI (State–Trait Anxiety Inventory) self-report assessment
Study Timeline - TDT Clinical Observation & VR Session Pilot
Data for TDT-guided mental imagery sessions was collected at four intervals:
-
Before the intervention
-
During guided imagery
-
Two weeks after the mental imagery intervention
-
Four months after the intervention
For the VR session integration, participants experienced two 5-minute immersive sessions, and follow-up data was observed two weeks after the VR exposure to compare emotional and brainwave shifts.
qEEG observations showed a sustained increase in calming alpha activity and a reduction in stress-associated beta activity across both the TDT imagery phase and VR integration phase.
STAI self-assessments showed that 67% of participants shifted from high to moderate anxiety perception following continued application over time.

試飲と検証
To better understand real-world impact, NeuropilotVR conducted 2,200+ experiential sessions across users including athletes, founders, executives, and wellness participants in Georgia, Germany, and Japan (ages 18–65).
Each participant experienced two 5-minute VR brain recalibration sessions.
Over 90% reported noticeable improvements in emotional clarity, relaxation, or cognitive lightness and described the format as refreshing, effective, and easy to maintain.
Many users highlighted the novelty of the VR mental imagery approach as a key factor in emotional engagement and relief.
Looking Forward - Research to Application
NeuropilotVR currently functions as a wellness-focused immersive experience, designed to support emotional balance and brain recalibration.
Research insights gathered through qEEG and user-validations are being prepared for potential future regulatory evaluation within medical device pathways - aligning innovation with long-term certification goals.
